Rachel Wolff is a writer, editor, and video-maker based in Brooklyn. She's written about art and design for New York magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, The Daily Beast, Departures, Details, Elle, Town & Country, Condé Nast Traveler, Bloomberg Businessweek, Chicago Magazine, Cultured, ARTnews, and Art + Auction, and Modern Painters, where she served as a contributing editor. She edited the culture and design sections of the "Louis Vuitton City Guide: New York"; she's covered exhibitions of Impressionist, Modern, Postwar, and Contemporary art around the world; and she was fellow with the National Endowment of the Arts’ International Arts Journalism Institute in Visual Arts. She has contributed to various exhibition catalogues and panel discussions.
She is also the co-founder and creative director of SandenWolff, a boutique video production company working with institutions and brands. Their clients include Architectural Digest, Architizer, Association of Art Museum Directors, Brooklyn Historical Society, Brooklyn Museum, Christie's, HP, Jewish Museum, Lévy Gorvy, Microsoft, Neue Galerie, The New School, Public Art Fund, Solomon R. Rachel holds an MFA in fiction from the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. She is currently at work on her first novel.
